First off we would like to thank everyone who visited and registered at thehockeyprophets.com over this past season, but we would especially like to thank those who had the confidence to play our “Prophecies”.

This season had many high points for us including “Super Saturday” on October 3rd, when the season kicked off. Our record was an enthusiastic 12-6, including Montreal, Philadelphia and Phoenix all as plus money winners.

Then came November, which also brought us to the MGM Grand where Mr. Greg Fischer and the rest of the staff in the race and sports book took excellent care of us over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Then on the 30th we went 14-2. That Monday saw us hit 4 plus money winners including three of them on O/U’s.

December also saw its share of highlights, one of them was going 18-7 on the 23rd. We know from one e-mail that we received this helped to make Christmas a little bit brighter in at least one household. While there may have been more “Prophetable” days or better records, it’s always nice to be thanked, especially around the Holiday’s.

January brought FREE picks to everyone who logged on to thehockeyprophets.com and those who played from 01/01/10 – 01/31/10 were rewarded with a +55 unit count for the month. This promotion was by far and away our most successful for getting the site recognition and helping to establish ourselves in the public since we had been acting as a private service over the previous four years.

There is an action packed schedule tonight with 11 NHL games going on and many teams fighting to get into the post season. 1et finds the Thrashers (+190) taking on the Penguins (-230). Atlanta is currently 2pts out of the 8th spot in the East and have put together a 6-3-1 run in their last 10 games. Pittsburgh has won the two previous meeting so far this season.

2et has two games starting. Ottawa (-130) takes on the NY Islanders (+110) and the Predators (+170) head into the motor city to take on the Red Wings (-200). This should be an interesting game as both teams have been hot, but the Wings are an awesome 9-0-1 in their last 10. It was just over a week ago that these two teams played 65 minutes of scoreless hockey and had an 11 round shoot-out.

There are also a few other great match-ups tonight such as Buffalo (-105) v. Montreal (-115) and New Jersey (+105) v. Carolina (-125), both at 7et. Overall there are 23 picks between Game Winners, O/U's and the "Grand Salami". Be sure you "Profit From Your Prophets".
